Steps to becoming an MSU Texas student

Becoming an MSU Texas student is easy! Our Military Student Liaison will provide concierge service to you throughout the process.

1. Complete your application for admission.
2. Submit Official Transcripts and Test Scores*
3. Choose your academic program.
4. Meet with your advisor.

*MSU Texas is a test score optional university.

Thanks to the generosity of the Wichita Falls community, MSU Texas is able to offer you a $500 scholarship per three credit hours.

For example, if you register for 12 credit hours, you will receive $2,000 through the MSU Texas Military Scholarship.

There are also a number of benefits available to the children and spouses of active military service members including the GI Bill and MyCAA. Visit the MSU Texas Veterans Affairs webpage for a list of eligible programs.
