Steps to Becoming an MSU Texas student
Becoming an MSU Texas student is easy! Our Military Student Liaison will provide concierge service to you throughout the process
- Complete your application and include transcripts from previous institutions attended.
- Choose your academic program.
- Meet with your advisor.
- Take your completed MSU Texas Military Tuition Assistance Request Form to the Base Education Office.
Explore Military Education Benefits
As Active Duty Military, you may be eligible for Tuition Assistance (TA) up to $250 per semester credit hour for up to 124 hours. MSU Texas covers the additional costs of your tuition and fees through scholarships supported by our generous donors. That means – NO out-of-pocket costs for you!
If you have exhausted your TA benefits, you may be eligible to utilize federal funding through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Please note that TA and FAFSA benefits may not be utilized simultaneously.
Earn Credit for Military Training
You may be able to receive college credit for your Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marine Corp training once enrolled. Speak with your Academic Advisor about transfer credits from military programs such as CCAF, CDET, METC and more.Find Your Program

Applied Arts & Sciences (BAAS)
Instructional Design & Technology
Our Instructional Design & Technology program is ideal for active duty enrolled in CFETP as you plan, develop, manage and conduct effective and efficient development programs.
Our program meets 1750 requirements.
General Education Mobile (GEM)
Earn credits that will transfer and apply to your CCAF degree.
As a GEM-approved institution, you may enroll in general online education class at MSU Texas.
Online Graduate Programs
Business Administration (MBA)
Our MBA programs are designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary for achieving your goals and objectives and to prepare you for careers in the global business market.
Concentrations include accounting, business analytics, and energy management.
Professional Studies (MPS)
Comprehensive and flexible, the Professional Studies program is ideal for working professionals who seek a curriculum tailored to their current career needs and future aspirations.
This interdisciplinary program crosses traditional academic boundaries to provide you with a marketable combination of analytical, research, communication, and team-building skills.
Human Resource Development (MA)
Our program in Human Resource Development is designed to respond to the increasing demand that various businesses have for employees with a human resources specialty.
Upon completion of the program, you will have assembled an extensive portfolio of knowledge and experience gained from their studies that they can carry with confidence into the working world.
Sport Administration (M.Ed.)
The Sport Administration program provides a quality background for positions in recreation and leisure administration.
The online curriculum allows you to obtain real-world work experience will completing the program.
